Our speaker this month Emily Gibson-Barton, of St Clements C loggers who told us about the history of Morris Dancing in an interesting talk and slide show entitled. Its not all Hanky Waving. Who knew there were so many different styles of dancing, with and without hankies? She was even able to encourage some of our members to have a go!

All those who attended the ACM in Margate had a good days entertainment. We had three speakers this year. The first was Mandy Hickson the first female RAF Tornado pilot, and what an inspirational speaker she was. Then Michael Portillo in his trademark colourful outfit. He was very funny indeed. In the afternoon we had a wonderful Welsh bass baritone singer, Anthony Stuart Loyd.

Glorias coffee mornings raised a fantastic £331 which is going to Home Economics.
